Internal Alteration in Leeds
Following the purchase of their new home, our clients were keen to reconfigure the internal layout to maximise natural light within the existing kitchen, introduce roof glazing with Velux windows, and create a larger opening to connect the space seamlessly with a new patio area in place of the old unused garage.
After carrying out a detailed measured survey, we were able to incorporate all design requirements into the existing plans without constraints. As the project involved internal alterations only, there was no requirement for planning permission.
We also developed a comprehensive Stage 4 Builder Drawing package, including detailed selections and finishes, M&E schematics, and landscaping plans, ensuring the design intent was clearly communicated through to construction.
The completed scheme has successfully transformed what was once a dark kitchen-diner into a bright, spacious, and inviting environment. The addition of larger openings to the beautifully landscaped patio enhances the connection between inside and out, creating a versatile space that can be enjoyed throughout all seasons.
This project is a great example of how considered, well-executed changes can make a significant impact on the overall feel and functionality of a home.
